Director, Equitable Evaluation Initiative; Founder & Principal, Luminare Group
Jara Dean-Coffey is founder and director of the Equitable Evaluation Initiative. For the past twenty-five years, she has partnered with clients and colleagues to elevate their collective understanding of the relationship between values, context, strategy, and evaluation, and shifted our practices so that they are more fully in service of equity. Her consulting practice, jdcPartnerships, now Luminare Group, has consistently sought to push practice and incubated the Equitable Evaluation Initiative, which is now home to the Equitable Evaluation Framework.
She currently serves on the boards of Equity in the Center, Collective Change Lab, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Evaluation Advisory Group, and recently concluded American Evaluation Association board service.
