Barbara Ntambirweki is a researcher at ETC Group, lawyer and advocate of the High Court of Uganda, and a lecturer of intellectual property rights law at Uganda Pentecostal University.
With over 15 years of experience, Ntambirweki specializes in research and policy analysis related to food systems and emerging technologies, particularly focusing on digitalization of food and agriculture, synthetic biology, and developments of modern biotechnology. She coordinates the African Working Group on Digitalization of Food and Agriculture, which brings together civil society leaders and communities to work towards collective objectives for the digitalization of Africa’s food and agriculture sector. She was previously a fellow at Stanford’s Digital Civil Society Lab.
